Ground the 5-way or not?

The Seymour duncan diagram (for HSS strat config) shows no ground wire heading to the 5 way switch.  The 5 way I took out of my squier had a lug on it specifically for ground, but I didn't wire it up.

I got a proper switch now so i'm swapping out. but I dont see a dedicated ground lug.

Do you normally ground these? and where do you do it?

Mine usually just ground to the pickguard shield.  I'd only run a ground wire if I was going to tap the bridge bucker.
