Hi friends! I'm in the process of gathering all the parts for this build. Secured the body: It’s a one piece chambered mahogany body with sick green flames. Going to be pairing with a one piece rosewood neck. Can’t wait to assemble!
WOW that's a beautiful finish! I love wood grain and green dyes! I'm probably the mooncaster they're talking about, though mine isn't a burst . :rock-on:
Thanks all! Got a dimarzio air classic humbucker for the bridge, so I'm really excited to see how the chambered mahogany body sounds with it. I'm hoping for some serious resonance and classic rock roar. Neck is probably another month or two away.
That is going to be sooo sweet with a one-piece rosewood neck. I am planning on getting a carved-top semi-hollow tele next and was thinking about getting one as well. I will be curious to hear what you think of the weight and balance with the chambered body. That will look super sharp for sure. What a great paint job.
It’s pretty cool! I haven’t weighed it, but it feels about the same as my roasted maple strat neck (maybe even lighter?), and it balances well with the body.
