Great, now I have to build a bass

Just picked up a Warmoth bass neck off ebay for $177  :cool01:  Ebony on Bubinga.  That's about 1/2 price from what they are on Warmoth's neck builder page.

Now I'll have to start looking for a nice G4 body in the showcase when they come in.

Still haven't done anything with it yet.  There is a nice tobacco burst dinky in the showcase that I am looking at.

Is the truss rod completely loose or slightly tightened ?

In other words, what's the best way to keep an neck in a good condition FOR YEARS when off the guitar ?
