Hi,
today I recieved my warmoth order which was great, but I've got a couple of problems. One of them is that I got a Gotoh 510TS-FE2 (vintage 6-screw) and it won't fit in the rout. The screw spacing is all right but the shaft were you screw the tremolo arm in will press against the rout so the screw holes on the tremolo won't match the ones drilled on the body.
I'm looking at specs for other vintage tremolos an all of them seem to have similar widths for the blocks or even having this sort of shaft, so I'm wondering, can it be a faulty rout? That would be real bad luck because it's happening on the two bodies I've got.
Does anybody owns one of this? Somebody with similar experiences?
I don't want to spend another hundred bucks on a new tremolo if this has a fix
I'm attaching a picture to help explain what I'm talking about (I know the diagram is not from a 510TS but it's the only one I could find with that shaft thing for the arm).
Thanks
