Got to hold an olympic torch today

My boss was a torch runner yesterday, and she decided to buy the torch (gotta pay for all this Olympic stuff somehow I suppose).

So I got to hold it and pretend I was athletic for awhile.  Sadly, the burner was disabled  :icon_biggrin:

It was heavier than I expected.  Also, it was made by Bombardier, which I find absolutely hilarious! Maybe I can buy a sled with built-in torches...  :headbang:

I remember 1984 and XIV Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo... I was volunteer and worked as 16 old boy in the technical team, but we brought many benefits to unlimited entry, free rides, complete ski equipment, clothing, unlimited food and beverages and much pride ...
At that time it were the best organized winter Olympic games...

Wow that's cool, I am such a huge fan of the olympics, I can't believe their gonna be less than 400 miles from here and I won't get up there. But I have a 55' HD Flat screen TV to bring them here.
