Got my new body, and a sad surprise

I did a Jazzmaster custom build, rear routed, and didn't read the part where they don't rout out the controls for typical jazzmaster wiring,  so I got what looks like basic strat controls with a LP toggle.  Like this:

The problem is the pickups I bought (Seymour Duncan Vintage for Bridge and Hot for neck) have the wiring diagram for the typical jazzmaster control setup.  I don't know what to do with this.  :sad1:

All I want is to use this setup and make it work in as versatile manner as possible.  I can't find any wiring diagram close to this setup.  I don't understand why they don't rout out like the normal JMs, even several in the showcase have this rout?

Ignore the rest of this diagram, but pay attention to which terminal is A, B and C on the switches.

Well, I know shite about wiring...
But if you've any trouble and decide to talk with Warmoth about it, you'd better talk with Robert Rounds there (rob@warmoth.com), he's the guy who deals with this kind of situation... :icon_thumright:

So the problem is that it has the 5 way rout and the gibson toggle rout? I'm confused. :dontknow:

To put it simply, the problem is the schematics for my pickups are for 4 pots and 2 switches , and the guitar was routed for 3 pots and 2 switches

The only thing I think that would help you in that situation if you didn't want to route another hole for the pot is to figure out which pot control you can do without, or combine with another.  Maybe a master tone control instead of independent.  At least you have the right number of switches.

Have you given any thought to a 3 way blade switch (tele style) with individual volumes per pu, a master tone and a master volume where the 3 way gibson would go? Not really a typical wiring but the Gretch guys seem to like it.
