Got 2 new orders in.

I couldn't make up my mind if solid or chambered was the best thing for me so I went with one of each.

Tele 1 is a solid body. Solid 1-piece Black Korina back with a unique quilt top. Fixed Strat bridge and dual humbucking. Color will be honey burst.

Tele 2 is a chambered body. Chambered 1-piece Mahogany back with a unique flame top. Fixed Strat bridge and dual humbucking. Color will be fire burst.

Should be interesting how the final products will look (compared to their web mockup) - but most importantly: how those 2 will sound. I'm especially interested if I'll like the chambered Mahogany one.

Thanks :) Now for the hard part... try explaining 2 new guitars to the wife!  :tard:

Those are beautiful tops. Looking forward to seeing them go together. It'll be interesting to see how they compare. Have you decided on pickups yet?

thanks  :glasses10:
Yes, I will definitely post pics when I get those.

For the chambered I will go with the SD Slash pickups that I'm currently using in another guitar.
The solid Korina one will get a Haeussel Hot and Haeussel Paf Alnico V.

I wasn't familiar with Haeussel pickups so I looked them up. I'm intrigued. It seems like they could be quite good. Thanks for the education.

Haeussel, pickups are well worth checking out. There is a reason Ruokangas use them, and if you haven't heard of Ruokangas you need to check out what they do too.

Thanks. There is always something more to know about these things we all love and play.

Those Ruokangas look sweet. I listened to the demo. Nice sounding guitar.
