Got married on San Juan Island Washington.
The He's dead Jims/Geezer played the night before. Our bass player played a warmoth for some of the gig. Fabulous. My 6 string isn't finished yet.
Here's my new wife, and my son and daughter. I'm the older guy.

Then I went crazy and saw this custom shop tele for sale at a great price in a store in England! I now have this thing for Zebrawood.

Thanks guys! Yep it's a forearm cut. I think the body wood is Ash and it is much lighter than it looks. Killer action although it frets out on the b string on the 14th, I'll get that fixed. Has a front and back Zebrawood laminate and a Zebrawood fretboard which frankly I have never seen nor heard of before. I picked it up from Coda Music Stevenage. They were fabulous.

Stevenage? that is an interesting choice for a honeymoon!! :)

oh well, I went to Brighton for my honeymoon ;) and I actually have some good memories of Stevenage.. saw Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney there.. great show! came back years later for a business trip visiting a customer.. it was way less interesting :)

I actually picked it off of the internet although I did take my now wife to England a couple of years ago for a work meeting that fell on her birthday.
We spent our honeymoon moving down to Santa Barbara. Will take a real honeymoon next spring hopefully to Asia.
Cheers and thanks!
btw Brighton Rocks - I seem to remember that as the name of a song.

Happy little day Jimmy went away
Met his little Jenny on a public holiday
A happy pair they made so decorously laid
'Neath the gay illuminations all along the promenade
It's so good to know there's still a little magic in the air
I'll weave my spell

Jenny will you stay tarry with me pray
Nothing e'er need come between us
Tell me love what do you say?
Oh no I must away to my mum in disarray
If my mother should discover how I spent my holiday
It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air
I'll say farewell

Oh rock of ages do not crumble
Love is breathing still
Oh lady moon shine down
A little people magic if you will

Jenny pines away writes a letter ev'ry day
We must ever be together
Nothing can my love erase
Oh no I'm compromised
I must apologize if my lady should discover
How I spent my holidays

I was thinking Ian Hunter then I remembered Queen (Before I googled it). Great album that was. Damn the lyrics are so.....................lyrical.

Congrats for both!!! All three looks awesome: the tele, your wife and your daughter :laughing7:
cheers!

Thanks Nonsense! My daughter is 21 and single and has had her share of loser boyfriends so to find someone who is doing something for themselves (like building guitars as a hobby) and not trying to mooch off of her (me) would be fantastic! How can I arrange a meeting?

That's great! You can arrange a meeting as soon as you want! I just don't think I'll have money to go to our northern cousin USA in a year or so, perhaps two... just got a mortgage ¬¬
But I'd enjoy a lot, at least the "intented father-in-law" seems to be a good chap, if everything goes wrong :laughing7:

Muito Obrigado! I can hear her now - " Dad you said what about me?!"
