oooooo.  I've been seening that laminate as a selection in the custom builder for a while, interesting to see it after it's been finished.  Very nice indeed.

Yea I know what you mean. But this body was conceived back in 2010...It is a wild maple unique choice top though.

Great looking top, what's the thing where the volume pot normally goes ?

Thank you, I think so too.

The black thing is just a low profile metal knob. It's able to go extra low by allowing the volume shaft to go through it; it locks down with a set screw. This is my alternative to a Delonge style volume pot rout, and you can find it on Allparts. :icon_thumright:

Ok thanks, so it's to stop knocking the volume knob I guess. Interesting device.

Yea it's clear from contact when palm muting the high strings..

Ok, so not just to avoid knocking the volume knob.

Personally I palm mute lower strings and the left hand tends to quieten the higher strings not that I've really analysed it. But the strat volume knob I like to use for violining, I guess I've used them for so long now I got used to it. But it has to be workable for the Player so I'm always interested in what others use for different things.

Yeah dude, that guitar is ridiculously awesome. I'm not sure how I missed seeing it until now, but well done!  :eek:ccasion14:

Thanks! I can definitely appreciate your Paul with the awesome trans black also!

I spent a long time on this build, and even changed my order at one point. It was originally gonna be this neck on a swamp ash body with a Mary Kay white. But I went all out and got the wild maple and tigers eye to match the neck color. Go big or go home sometimes. :)

I missed this one too. That neck is ridiculous at how well it goes with that body. Love the fret board. Nicely done!!
