Gold, Black, or Chrome Hardware?

I think it looks like a gold to me BUT! my first Warmoth build a VW 5AA quilt tobacco burst that has after a few years begun rubbing off and now looks like a chrome and gold mix in some spots so if it were me I'd go chrome or black.
Good point... BUT! The damage on the gold hardware depends on how acidic your sweat is, and such.
If I would say anything else than gold, I would go for chrome/nickel :icon_thumright:

Big V I'm sure you are right my gold neck plate on that guitar looks like someone spilled battery acid on it :o
The guys at the store where I bought my Schecter bass(nice bass), apparently have very acidic sweat, as much of the gold hardware was freaking corroded :tard:
Luckily for the, I like reliced guitars, but still :tard:
I will never again buy a guitar with gold hardware via retail

So, If you like:
-Hardware that doesn't stay pristine for long, go gold
-Hardware that looks new for a long time, go chrome/nicel

Oohhh....

you win the thread.

I dunno about that, these dudes can get pretty competitive in out-obscuring one another.  But thanks!

I like that kitty assassin photo you posted, too - it's long been one of my favorite Internet pix.

Anyway, yeah, I don't think gold hardware is the way to go.  Chrome or nickel is where it's at.

Moving right along...
