If I get a body with Daphne Blue finish, what would be the process of dulling the shine to a satin?

checking other guitar, bass, and violin sites yeilded these results: fine scotch-brite pads, or, steel wool, or pumice rubbed in, or other gentle abrasives, then damp clothed off.

So I would just start and finish with these fine ones? No coarse at all?

Make sure it is that 0000 grade. And I would deffinately use the scotchbright pad. Steel wool leaves metal pieces everywhere. Its rediculous.
