Gibraltar bridge on the Ibanez ART-300

Yeah, I know, it's not a Warmoth guitar. BUT, I'm considering buing some parts from Warmoth, also, you guys are really helpfull when it comes to helping greenhorns :icon_biggrin:
SO, i'm considerring dropping the Gibraltar bridge/Quik Change tailpiece, and insert a Tonepros Tune-O-Matic
1:how do you measure the distance between the studs?
2:is it even feasible?

Also, is it possible for me to use other tuners? (Like PW or Schaller), I noticed that the screw-holes are at an angle :icon_scratch: (the pictures are in the above link)

You want to change away from a Gibraltar bridge? :icon_scratch:
In my experience, the Tonepros TOM is crap.

The Gibraltar is meh, and I want to change all my hardware to pure chrome, cuz' all mah chrome is dark, and it doesn't match the silver-autographs (Galder and Silenoz were equipped with silver markers :glasses9
The nice thing with the Gibraltar is it's nice round profile (which ensures that it wont cut my hand.
BUT, I've had a few tuning issues, both from the tuners and bridge. And i've tried some guitars with the Tonepros TOM, so I'm going to give it a shot arty07:

Anyone know the price-difference, if the bridge can be bought? (the Gibraltar one)
