Gecko Wood/Combo question

Hello do any of you Gecko builders out there have experience with a Swamp Ash Body and Maple neck combo? I love the idea of lightweight swamp ash but does anybody with this combo feel that the neck is too heavy for the body and creates and unbalanced mix?

No problems with mine.

3lb. 6oz. body.  I also used Hipshot Ultralights to keep the neck weight down.

Took the shoulders in a bit, the overall thickness a few thousandth and brought the nut width in to just over 2".  Not a lot in any place, but it certainly feels lighter.


FYI, I've settled on Circle K strings and absolutely love them!
