Gecko neck wood combinations

I'm starting this thread to keep track of all the possible Gecko neck wood combinations that are available, or have been made as "special" Showcase necks in the past.

Updated on 2009/12/17, to move some entries from one category to another.  It's been a fun year.

Among the woods that Warmoth uses to make all their necks, there are several woods that aren't likely to be used as the "shafts" in a Gecko neck, due to the grain or waxiness of the woods, and how well they will (or won't) hold up in the "scarf" joint in a Gecko neck.
