Up for sale is my 2023 Gibson Les Paul R9 Murphy Lab Light Aged
It's a dealer exclusive (Russo Music) run Light Aged Murphy Lab R9 in a finish inspired by serial 90901 of page 70 of the Beauty of the Burst. BOTB describes the original guitar as a cherry teaburst just turning to iced tea, and this Murphy Lab nails it.
Hand selected AAA top for this run, this top has so much movement and chatoyance that can't be captured on camera. It has deep figuring.
Also spec'd with a customized neck profile. 0.91" at first, 1.00" at twelfth, with a slight V (so shallow shoulders) really makes it comfortable.
Super dark rosewood board.
The hard and thin aged finish make it feel like an old familiar guitar that is nicely broken in.
It's in excellent condition with factory aging.
Weight is 8 pounds 12 ounces.
Comes with OHSC and all case candy.
