Hey, wasn't sure if this was the best place to post. Basically my build is almost finished I've had a fretless neck from warmth and wanted some advice on setup. Ive got the low 3 strings on and I've noticed some fret buzz the low e is pretty much fine along with the d a slight buzz around the 9th to 10th fret. There is quite a lot of buzz on the a strings ? Ive not properly set the action yet and I'm assuming the neck is still adjusting as this is the first time strings have been put on. Do you think that i can sort the buzz out with setting the neck and action or is there a bigger problem cos its fretless ?

a fretless neck probably is more picky about the relief of the neck. you'll want to dial that in & the only way to do that is to have all the strings on.  did you tighten it a bit before stringing up like the pamphlet that came with it said?
what type of bridge do you have? bass or guitar? the more details you can provide the more we can help.

Guitar, the bridge is a 6 saddle modern tele bridge. Ive got all the strings on and the neck seems pretty straight as far as i can see the only problem now is the notes don't really ring out when close to the nut. Do you think i need to sand it down so its very low then i could achieve a low action at the nut and at the bridge. Right now the action is rally high !

Sounds like it needs a little bit of relief if only the nut end is causing you grief.
