Hi, My names David, and I'm a figured exotic wood guitaraholic!  :help:

During a severe GAS attack the other evening I accidently hit the "Buy Now" button and here I am waitng for my first boxes from Warmoth!
I've done some amateur wood working over the years, and have always done most of my own repair on my guitars (just simple things). I still have lots to learn, but I really love fine wood so I know I'm going to enjoy this!

For my "Maiden" attempt I thought I would spend a little extra and try to make lossing my virginity easy on myself. Here is a mock-up of what I plan.

Body: chambered VIP in Blk Korina/Blk Korina; rear route, Gotoh 510 bridge; Yes, this is the showcase body higlighted in the GAS Alert thread. I saw where Max said, "That's a photoshopped body I did for Jayswear a while back." so I am hoping it doesn't look too much different to this.

Neck: Wenge w/ Ebony fret board, Black Tusq Nut, Planet Waves, no inlays, Clapton profile (played one years ago and liked it, so I wanted to try it out one time).

Expecting to top it off with a set of Bare Knuckle Mules. Will post pics once I get the parts.

I put some BKP's in my  just finished Black Quilt Strat one Mule & a Abraxas  :icon_thumright: love them !!

I'm not a Gold lover, but the rest looks bloody tops  :toothy10:

Thanks for the welcome Updown! I forgot to mention the SS6105 frets. Good catch.
I'm not usually big on gold either, but this VIP just seemed ask for it!
