They used to wind them with white cord - like the very first Tele pickups, which have all since gone very dark brownish black. The Fralin would also do that, by 2061. Black was an option for the cord. Sometime about a year ago, they begain doing mostly black, with white being the option. The Fralin site is notably devoid of any real information, but if you've checked the ebay ads for those who sell a lot of Fralins, you'd see the change in cord color. If it means a big deal, just ask. If they only have white, dont sweat it, as you can color the cord while its on the pickup... no biggie really.
