I'm going for a triple P-90 setup for my next Warmoth build &am looking for the best sounding noiseless P-90.

Fralin makes a noiseless P-90, but I've never heard it. They're about double the price of the Dimarzio Virtual P-90s. I'm wondering which ones are the most authentic. I actually wouldn't mind if the PU sounded like a P-90, but a bit tighter in the lows.

Btw, the Fralins are double the Dimarzio price. Twice as good or charging more because of the boutique mystique?

The only person who could answer this question would be someone who has bought both, and preferably compared them in the same guitar. There is also Kinman, they cost twice the Fralins. Maybe they're four times as good as the Dimarzio?  :icon_jokercolor:

Seriously, my guess would be that they are both good, both companies make good products in all my experience. I might expect the Dimarzios to be hotter and punchier and the Fralins to be sweeter, but that's just based on the reps of the companies. Kinman is one of those companies that uses mystical pseudoscience copy to sell their products, and charges more than anyone else, so personally I won't consider their stuff.

With all due respect to Kinman fans, I think the best thing about them are their ad writers. They hype their products like no one I've ever seen. However, having actually heard & played several of their PUs, I think they're mediocre at best. Now, if they could actually make their products sound as good as their ad copy, then they'd have something.
