I didn't feel like screwing mine up either but I can't seem to find anyone to do the job for me at an affordable price - for me anyway. I'm getting my 1984 Ovation fixed by Ovation for $370 (shipping both ways included) and the $325 quote + tax just was just more than I was willing to do at the time. I took the Ovation to a guy who is a repair tech for Martin guitars (here in PA) and he couldn't do anything for me. Then he had his buddy look at my Warmoth stuff and I got that quote. Now he wants to help me with the guitar for free, but I'm nearly done with it! Oh well. I've just got to do the electronics and the nut and he doesn't do electronics. I'm going to ask him for help with the nut if I run into trouble.
