Seriousy, I want the guitar I'm going to make next to have 24 frets but be a 25 scale inch so I can have a little bit more room than the 24 3/4 24 fret neck. My fingers barley fit inbetween those high frets, and I don't like the feel!!! I mean you guys make seven string guitars in 25" scale! Why not six string too?!?!?! The point is I'm going to have to make my entire guitar from another company and I don't want to you guys make the best guitars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I don't follow what your grievence is. Much of what Warmoth sells neck-wise follows Fender's scaling system, which is 25 1/2". I do know what you mean when it comes to feeling squashed on a 24-fret Gibson-scale neck. The last time I went to Guitar Center, they had one of those Tony Iommi G-400s on the floor. It only took me a minute to dislike it. With my wedding ring being size 13 1/2, you can guess how easy it was for me to attempt to fret a chord beyond the 12th fret.

But then again, nearly anything that comes with 24 frets has too narrow of a neck to really work with anyway *cough* *cough* *Ibanez* *cough*

Seriously?

I'm not trying to be a prick, but does 1/4 inch REALLY make that much of a difference?  I mean, I've played 24 3/4, and 25 1/2, and the difference between them is very slight to me...

:dontknow:

Well I've got big hands, unfortunately. :[ Even on my les pual the 22nd fret is pushing it. Plus I like the sound of a 25" scale, it gets as close to the harmonic for a strats neck pickup as possible while mainting the ability to have 24 frets without moving the pickup! Which is also a $45 up charge and you lose that real strat neck pickup tone.
