I recently picked up a brilliant book called 'The Beauty of The Burst'. It's essentially a very good document on the surviving '58 '59 and '60 bursts with detailed pictures, measurements and history on every instrument.
I think it makes a very good coffee table book and if you are a Les Paul fan, it would probably make a good addition to your collection. Of course there are other such books on the market. This one, however seems to be trusted as an accurate source as the writer spent years searching, interviewing owners, measuring, and documenting every instrument down to the hairline cracks.
If you get it, I hope you enjoy it, as I have.
