Football Jackplate

The warmoth football jackplate isn't curved enough for my jazzmaster body. Any suggestions on bending it?

I've found that the mounting screws will draw it up flush like it should be. Just be careful you don't drill the holes too big or instead of the screws drawing it up, the plate will pull back on the screws hard enough to strip the hole.
