Floyd Rose Pro, solid steel or cast?

Hey everyone,

So I have played a few guitars with Official Floyd Roses and I have played the one the Schaller Floyd Rose. I liked the Official Floyd Roses but they were a bit bulky to me and the Schaller felt a bit better under my hand but I didn't like the sound as much. I was thinking it was all in my head but then I read on here that they are constructed in different ways and have a different sound, plus the Schallers knife edges are slightly softer.

Anyways I was looking on the Official Floyd Rose website and found the Floyd Rose Pro. I know that Warmoth doesn't sell it and wont route for it. My question is do you guys know if it is made out of solid steel like the Official Floyd Rose or cast like the Schaller. Thanks

I was also very interested in the FR pro because of the lower profile at the fine tuners and called W. about it a while back.
Good question about the construction.

I also downloaded the line drawings for the routings but couldn't make sense out of them.
I suspect a pro might just fit into the same warmoth routing for the original, but would love to know for sure,
one way or the other.

The funny thing is, Schaller is the company that actually manufactures tremolo's for Floyd Rose.

I myself prefer Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo's as they seem to take everything good about the original FR's,
and have made subtle yet noticeable changes, refining the FR design. I'm not sure of how they manufacture
their trems, but I do know they use cast steel for the saddles and the knife edges use hardened steel.
