If it's anything like my experience then you're torn knowing how amazing it's going to feel applying oil and seeing the final product, and actually doing all the prep work/sanding. I think I put 25 hours into hand sanding this week? When I applied the oil... worth.

I do a lot of sanding in my day job so I’m kind of used to it now, it’s not too bad working the higher grades after Warmoth have done a good job up to 220

Very nice, I love the look of a flame maple neck. I occasionally think about replacing the bird's-eye maple neck on my strat with a flame maple one because I like the look so much better haha!
