Flame Maple Neck

Hey, new to the board, thought Id show my new beauty off to the world!

Flame Maple P Bass neck, with a Flame Maple fret board. Also came with abolone inlays. Haha, had my eye on it in the showcase for weeks before getting the nerve to finally purchase it.

Plannin on putting it on a p bass body. Already applied a few coats of tru oil, feels great so far.

That's a sexy slab o' lumber. Nice grab!  What's the plan for the rest of the build?  Retrofitting on an existing P-bass, or building that up from scratch, also?

Haha actually Im goin for a blue burst kind of finish, likely goin with a custom order warmoth, still havent decided between blue burst or carribean.

I agree. I'm a big fan of curly Maple, and that's a stellar example of how good it can look.
