Got my Goncalo Alves / Ziricote neck earlier today. Goncalo is so smooth and fast feeling, can't take my hands off of it. Specs are, SS6100 frets, boatneck, earvana graphtech nut, full scallop.  Any advice on a body to go with this would be awesome.

canary drop top with cream binding on your wood of choice . . .  :icon_thumright: that's a nice looking piece of woo you got there

Beautiful neck :icon_thumright:

Good choice on getting the neck first, I have a tendency to get the body and then never the neck....

My choice would be a nice piece of swamp ash simply oiled strung up with 2 humbuckers and a hardtail of your choice

That is a gorgeous neck! Excellent choice of woods. I do so love mungo frets - I put 6100s on everything - and the scallop does wonders for exposing grain in a way that nothing else will, with the ziricote is perfect for that sort of thing. I think maybe a mahogany body with a rosewood top, hot humbuck for the bridge and noiseless singles in the middle/neck positions, maybe even a hardtail bridge instead of the wang bar. That'd be a beast.

I LOVE the goncalo neck I got for my first build. The only ting was I did have to hit it with some fine sandpaper a couple times when it was first being used - a little of the grain raised up but after knocking it back maybe three times in the past few months it seems pretty stable now. I've also started to notice it's getting darker as it ages (which I expected)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I like the Canary idea.  Canary on swamp ash is a good possibility. Also Desmo, what grit sandpaper did you use?

Unique Choice Top Canary is fairly inexpensive, too . . . and I think it looks really pretty.  :occasion14:
