Hello all,
I know this isn’t rocket science, but it has been in the works for a long time…first a few pics:
I have a number of very nice basses and didn’t expect the awesome quality of the parts I received! Everything is very well made and the neck fit the body like a glove! I am totally stoked.
This process began about a year ago when I saw the body for sale on TalkBass. I really liked the color and bought it. Then the search for a Delux 5 string neck began. This turned out to be quite a challenge, but I found an excellent one a few weeks ago. I know I could have bought a custom neck, but wanted to find something used for less $.
I am a woodworker, but with all the band practices, I haven’t had time to just build one. Someday I plan on starting with building a body and buying another Warmoth neck (which is the intimidating part for me.
Anyway good to finally have something to post on here!
