ill run you down on her stats

mahogany body with zebrawood top
maple neck, rosewood finger board, V back contour and vintage size frets
pair of lace hemi-buckers

sounds absolutely fantastic, i can record some clips if you want

:hello2: im very pleased with how this came out, sounds better than i expected and looks gorgeous now all i gotta do is take her in for a poper setup cos im not great at that.

Cool! I know zebra isn't everybody's favorite wood, but I like it sometimes. This is one of those times.

BTW, how do you like the Schaller bridge?  I had one on a Strat and hated it.  Everytime I bent the high E string above the 15 fret, the string would pop out of the roller.

Just a thought:  are you going to trim the excess string lengths from the tuning machines?

Edit:  after noticing the guitar in the background of your last pic, I guess not.  :icon_scratch:

BTW -They are called "Cat Whiskers" Doc and all my guitars have them .  :headbang1:
but you need to kink and bend them so as not to poke your eye out !

My Grandma used to say, "Its always fun 'til someone loses an eye."  :toothy12:

If you like them like that, more power to ya.  :icon_thumright:

We need pics of the back.  If you haven't already, you should hit DangerousR6 up for a custom neck plate.   :icon_thumright:

Remember that old song by Marcy's Playground, "I like sex and candy..."

I really like the concept, but for some reason this one is not working for me.. but I can see why you love it! so congrats!  :icon_biggrin:
and yes, the headstock is freaking me out too.. reminds me of a "swinger"

btw, I couldn't live with the whiskers..I would be too distracted and annoyed to play it :)

you don't like the pickguard?

i was originally going to just get a matte black pickguard but as i was ordering the parts i got exited by the idea of tortoiseshell... dunno about it i might still spray it black

and why's everyone rippin on my headstock... i chose supreme versatility, a guitar that can also be used for self defense  :icon_thumright:

i could never have cream coloured nything on a guitar... i really dislike the colour

I think a black pickguard and trimming the strings would go a long way.  JMHO.  :icon_thumright:

you'll all be pleased to know she has had a haircut as has the guitar in the background

so black pickguard or leave tortoise shell? what you think?

If you like it... Leave it..

But I think just about everyone here thinks it's ugly as sin.....

I would go with black.
