Man, really inspired by all of the awesome builds you guys have done here.  So I pulled the trigger and decided to pull together my first Warmoth build.  I love telecasters and I love Jerry Garcia so I decided to build an awesome hybrid tele.  I will have to come up with a cool name but now just excited by the awesome work Warmoth did on the body of this guitar.  Specs and photos:

Body: Chambered Maple Quilt on Swamp Ash with binding and tiger eye finish.  All the fat man contours.  Strat controls and a rear rout.

Neck:  Moses Graphite 22 fret tele neck

Bridge: Winkinson Tele vintage with 3 brass saddles

Nut: Brass

Pickups:  Neck: Duncan Antiguity II, Middle: Dimarzio Super 2 split Coil (this is the Jerrry Garcia Sound), Bridge: Barden Gatton

Controls:  Strat 5 Way w S1 to split coil the Dimarzio

Tuners:  Sperziel Locking

I think i want a nice custom neck plate.  Folks here seem to have some cool ones made.  Any advice as to who does that work would be appreciated.  Also, any advice going in would be really helpful.  Thanks

That's gonna be a really sweet fiddle! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on that graphite neck, too.

The vast majority of the custom neck plates you see here are made by DangerousR6. He does great work, has fast turn-around, and is reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

VERY nice quilt top!

+1  I'd also like to hear about your experience with the graphite neck.
