OK....didn't build this one myself, but wanted to share it with you all....

Schaller Megaswitch wired with middle position as neck+bridge (rest standard 5 way)
Bourns Audiophile sealed 250K pots, Centralab Ceramic Cap, SIlver Audiophile Wire, electrosocket/switchcraft jack

Wow, that guitar is absolutely awesome! LOVE the connection of a Firebird and a Telecaster!
 
You could kinda fudge it by setting up a router sled to carve away the top quarter inch of a mahogany body on either side of the center strip.
