I had a GTC-101 bridge and metal pickup rings in my parts bin I've been wanting to use.

I never thought I'd like P-90 pickups but I do.

I just looked at the box the body and neck shipped in and the gross weight was 7 pounds.

I've always subscribed to the Paul Gilbert guitar volume placement.

That way I don't hit it with my meat hooks.

Well I only played it late last night after I strung it up.

I have it wired for P90 / HUM / Rail  via ON-OFF-ON and Neck / Bridge via volume ON-ON .

I could not figure out how to get the series HB Neck/Bridge singles without more switches than I wanted to drill holes for.

Anyhow on the clean channel I love the tone of the P90 and I feel I've been missing it all my life. The HB mode gets nasty good with a hint of raunch. The Rail is meh.

I haven't tried it on the gain channel but I am sure I will this evening.
