Filming the build

Hello everyone  :glasses9:
I will be getting a neck and body in a few weeks(made the purchase a couple of days ago). I made my wood choices based on their feel and look rather than tone. Body is solid one piece mahogany rear rout strat which I will be finishing to a natural satin. I've got some experience pore filling and finishing wood so I should be fine.
All of the assembly and setup process will be filmed and put on youtube for fun. It may also help people find out about warmoth and give them an idea of the process.
I've seen a few good videos on warmoth builds but I think it won't hurt to also add mine.
Would be happy to hear your ideas and see your videos meanwhile, the plan is to make something useful.
Cheers  :guitarplayer2:

I would love to watch! Imo, there aren't enough YT videos on warmoth builds. We need more! I have considered dabbling in finishing myself but I don't feel confident enough and would love to watch the finish process done by another DIY'er.

Link to YT Channel when you start building/filming?
I'll add the link as soon as I receive the parts. It shouldn't be long, may also put videos on hardware choices when I get them.

Great to hear that. For this one, which is my first warmoth, I'm going with a DIY finish mainly to get the parts faster. Since it is a natural satin, I should be able to take care of it. The main reason for this choice is that the total cost would have hit the customs threshold with a warmoth finish, filling customs forms and the delay isn't fun.

If all goes well in this build, my plan is to get a second guitar with hollowed body, piezo bridge and a quilt top. I'll go with a warmoth finish for that one. Their finishes are just so beautiful, specially on flame and quilt maple.
