My recent build: Warmoth swamp ash body, cool "Wild" ash top, 1993 MIM Fender Precision neck, Fender "60's" Pickups, passive electronics.

"Scandinavian Oil" finish.

ooooh, great one! Bought fender "custom shop" 60's pickups for my old jazz a while back, they are great!

It's now sporting one brand new carbon fiber neck from Status  :headbang:
(no, it's not mine, the former owner sold me the original neck he don't use anymore)

The first Jazzes had this copper stripe used to connect the bridge to the ground. 60's pickups are supposed to be the "exact replicas" of the originals so I used the grounding stripe too.
 
That is a killer looking bass right there.  Awesome job. 
I agree with the others.  That pin stripe tops it off nicely.

Is that really an oil finish? Looks incredible!

If I may ask, what was all involved in getting such a good result?
