These aren't anything new. :dontknow:
NAMM 2012
GC-1 Ready Strat
VG Strat
Fender Roland Ready Strats have been around for a while.
All thou they where Mex or American made with Fender on the headstock.
Nothing new there !!
(I've got a Mex one with Warmoth Neck) :icon_biggrin:
BUT ..
It looks like Fender & Roland have a deal going on here, as the headstock has both Fender & Roland on it now.
Think they have gone this way, as the latest, Roland GR-55 has been a very good seller for Roland.
(Plus they show up on both Fender & Roland sites)
Now the other one, the VG Strat ….. What a complete joke
The 1st of these where a complete flop, why go down the same path.
I just don't get it. (must be in response to Gibson)
Especially strange is, not having the 13pin on the VG model :icon_scratch:
Don't know any pricing on these as yet.
Not sure where they are made either. (Got a funny feeling that it might be Indonesia)
http://www.fender.com/features/vguitar
I'd still prefer my own installed GK-3 into a Warmoth :icon_biggrin:
For those that are not sure what these guitars do, check the video's out.
Yep I'm that GK-3 nutter :laughing7:
