Fender Bridge Allen Pins

Hey guys. On my strat, the little allen screws that adjust the saddle and thus action height are flush. On my tele, which has a new american tele bridge, they stick up. It is driving me crazy and is uncomfortable. Any idea where I could get new saddle pins?

You can get them here, but I don't know what size you need. The ones that are in there now are likely something like a 4-40x1/4", but they could be metric. You'll have to pull one and find a way to identify it. Sometimes, if the local hardware has a large selection of loose nuts/bolts/screws/etc., they'll have a thread gauge.

Yep, you're local hardware store. Not the Big Box guys, like Lowe's or the Depot, go to the real hardware store in the area. Bring the whole bridge with you, as well as your own allen wrench. Then pull one from the bridge and gauge it. If they don't have a gauge, keep trying from the little bin until you get one to fit.
Then, buy as many as you need, and maybe one or two more. When those little buggers decide to test their wings and fly to the floor, they can be a real pain.
