Fender American Standard Bass Not Compatible

Just want to verify my findings are correct. Warmoth only makes one depth 16mm for Fender MIM basses and will not program their CNC to the approx. 14.2mm depth as an option to accommodate an American Standard Precision bass neck.

bbbuuuuttttt if you find yourself in that situation, you could always shim that sucker 1.8mm.

It'd be about a 1/16" shim which is out of the shim category into the spacer block category. lol Maybe it's a license thing with Fender.

The neck pocket depths Warmoth uses are Fender specs, but not all Fenders adhere to this. I am not sure where you have 14.2 mm from. You could email the part tech about this, the email is at the bottom of the linked page.
