Engraved Metal-Front Strat

Completed; I'll add better pics when the weather improves...like, April? The flame on the maple neck should be seen in a shot.

Perfect! I was worried you were going to go apeshit with the paint while hoping you'd leave the image as is, and my hopes have been realized. Very classy piece of work.

"APESHIT"?!? I beg your pardon.... :icon_biggrin: Thanks ,Kevin...

Hehe! I mean no offense. But, you super-artistic guys need a spanking every once in a while. Sometimes, less is more. But, what do I know? I'm about a million miles from artistic.

Very awesome, wonder if you do custom work for commission? if given a theme
Yes, I could perhaps be persuaded to take on a commission if I thought it would be an enjoyable project. To date, several people have inquired, and then balked at what I feel were VERY low prices for the work...so....who knows? If you've got questions, ask away...

People often think that if you do some really hard, nice work for yourself - you like to work for free?  :icon_scratch: I mean, you didn't pay yourself, right - Bro? Right... bro. And in many cases people like Paul Gilbert & John McLaughlin & Brad Paisley & Jeff Beck actually can do their own fretwork if they had to - but they don't, and they'll happily pony up the $300 that the top-line guys like Joe Glaser & Mike Lipe charge for the good stuff. Because they know how tedious, ummm, "zen-y" it really is.
