Electronics Problem

Hey, I bought a Jackson RR3 2 years ago and it always played great, except that the electronic job is kinda bad. It has 1 volume for the neck pickup, 1 volume for the bridge and a master tone.

Lets say the switch is on the bridge pickup but the bridge volume is all the way down, if the neck volume is even just a little bit up, it's gonna pick up sounds, and the switch is on the BRIDGE pickup remember. It does the same thing vice versa.

I have very limited knowledge in electronics so if anyone could help.

Thanks in advance

Look at a Jazz bass schematic.  Then we gotta see if the pickup switch is better before, or after the pots.  I'm guessing they wired it after the pots to keep the volume constent when the tone control was used.

Sort late for me here... but have a look at www.guitarelectroncis.com for schematics on the Jazz Bass... which is wired like yuo want (but no switch)
