You can darken the streaks with India ink or other ebonizing solutions (steel wool in vinegar)

For what it’s worth, I did NOT pay the up charge and this is what I got:



I sure wish Warmoth would consider using Royal Blackwood i.e. torrefied Purple heart as an alternative though: https://alliedlutherie.com/products/royal-blackwood

That looks great! It seems that many people have come to prefer a uniformly black ebony fretboard like yours over one with some lighter streaks.

I know it's pricey, but I do think it is worth it. I recently got a custom build roasted flame maple neck with a black ebony board and it is flawless.

Uniformly black ebony has been the "gold standard" for centuries, which is part of the reason we find ourselves in the position we are now.

Bob Taylor has such a mellow voice. Almost soothing (LOL !!!).
I like the black ebony as much as anyone, but the slightly streaked fretboard on my latest Warmoth Strat looks quite nice.
