dyed spalt maple?

I believe it was brubaker i saw that had done a number of spalted maple bass with dyes or paint like green and what not.

That looks more like tinted lacquer sprayed on top of the wood not a dye/stain in the wood

Didn't see all the posts in the topic, I'm a little out of patience today, but Spalted Maple can loose the "decay figure" if you dye... Saw some guys that happened it...
