Does "one piece" neck mean a neck carved out of a single piece of wood, as opposed to a neck with a separate fretboard glued onto the neck?

thanks.

I don't know, but the truss rod is put in before the fingerboard goes on...

The only other way to have a truly one piece neck would be to put the truss rod in from the back and use a skunk stripe to cover up the hole. (That's what the stripe was originally used for)

Yes, and that is still how they do it (I am almost positive). One piece means single chunk of wood, with skunk stripe as truss rod hole.

Thanks for the replies.

It therefore is impossible to have a 1-piece "Warmoth Pro" neck, then, correct?
