I'm in the Iron Maiden fan club, so you're goddamn right I'm going - I mean, just look at my guitar (http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=12723.0), LOL! :icon_biggrin:
Fan Club members get pre-sale tix, so I got four - 2 pit, 2 Row AA - for Chicago, July 18th. :headbang1:
BTW - for those of you that don't know, they're offering a free download of their brand-new single 'El Dorado' @ ironmaiden.com!

God, Iron Maiden. They were the first live show I ever saw. It was Iron Maiden with Quiet Riot in like 1982. If I remember correctly it was the "Number of the Beast" tour. Saw them twice after that on the Piece of Mind tour and the Seventh Son tour. I think the Seventh Son tour had Megadeth opening for them.
MULLY
so glad I grew up in the 80's and saw all these bands in their prime
I was front row center last year in Florida (won tickets) for the 'Somewhere Back in Time' tour Mully, and I gotta say, they haven't slowed down.
Not one f-ing bit.
There are 80's bands that have resurfaced to do the club scene, some still rock, others should have stayed home. Iron Maiden is STILL cranking it at 11 and its
amazing they still sound as perfect now as they did back in the day!

I like Dream Theater a lot, not a big fan by any means - but anyone would be better than Steve's (Harris) daughter, Lauren (who's very hot, BTW) but
a pop-star wannabe isn't really 'proper' to open for the greatest heavy metal band in the world.
