Dimarzio Injectors

anyone knows why the p/u configuration for the firemen .. are all parallel?
will it change anything if i do the same on my strat?

What are you talking about??

sorry mate, i was wondering actually why all the pickup config on the fireman are all slanted in the same way (not like on strats).

Warmer treble response & more bite & clarity on the bass.

Strats were angled that way since they were originally sruf or country oriented so they wanted more treble & twang, which kinds sucks for anything but country or surf.

+1.  When I get around to building a Strat, I intend to reverse-angle the bridge pickup (kind'a like Hendrix).

I'm doing that for my next strat build as well. I always find the treble position single coil to be way too brittle for my ears & hopefully this will solve the problem & warm it up a bit.
