Man can I just say, that its absolutely nuts how different different computer screens makes guitar pictures look? I'm at home for the holidays and im on my families desktop and everything looks soooo much different then on my laptop! There really is a reason that nothing ever looks the same as it doesnt when you see it in person :laughing7:

when i first saw my tele body i was on my mom's desktop (sort of hers, i recommended it :icon_biggrin: i don't think she planned on buying an Alienware...) and the unreal finish and colors reached out and slapped me in the face. i got onto my laptop to drool over it some more and it wasn't nearly as vibrant. still looked amazing, but it was a world of difference.

Reminds me of looking at something underneath flourescent lights and then looking at it in the sun. Figured tops don't look right underneath tube lights, neither do cars once you paint them. Reminds me of a Bonneville SSEi my dad owned years ago. He painted it black with a dark red pearl in the paint. It never looked right in the shop, but when you got it into the sun and could admire it, it really popped out.

Ain't that the truth!!!

There was a Thread on here a few weeks back and a poster was asking about colours and we all kept saying that you can't get the exact colour you want because of the variances between the monitors from one PC to another. They were getting upset because we were apparently defending Warmoth's colour scheme, as we were saying that it is pretty accurate for what it was on their website... :icon_scratch:

I do a Bit of Photography so I like plasma screens
I have a 17 inch plasma on my Laptop
and the center monitor of my desktop is a Plasma, I find that with 3 different monitors on the desktop, when I drag my picture from one screen to another the colors change.

Si I can see what guys complain about.

I have dual identical Benq 22" HDMI Monitors (G2420HD) and there is a slight variance too when you drag a window across.... it would be frustrating if you were a video editor or the like but that's not my scene.
