Just a heads up... jeeze for $87, and 12v lithium power, the DeWalt 12v max screwdriver is hard to beat.  Two batteries, charger does 12v Max or 20v Max batteries, and its got LED lighting and variable torque/ratchet.  I've used mine for two days, literally taking hundreds of #12x1" screws out of wood and back in... hasn't even begun to slow down.  Mucho-ballso too.  Very small, very light.  Worth a look.

I needed a cordless screwdriver that had some real cajones behind it.  Looked at Milwaukee, Makita... bypassed on Ryobi.  Lowes' has these for $93ish, Amazon $87.  Just bought a second one. with a chuck adapter, since I like it so much.  Seems really good for those times when you really don't need to wrestle with the big 14.4/18/20 volt stuff.

Between the amount of current a lithium battery can provide and the amount of torque neodymium magnet motors can develop, portable screwdrivers have come a long way. I've got a Milwaukee unit that'll break your wrist if you aren't careful.

I have a DeWalt 20v, compact drill/driver. Small, light, and powerful as all get out. Runs for hours on a single battery. And like Kevin said, theses things have come a long way. Mine is probably 1/2 the weight and 4" shorter than the 14.4v it replaced. And at $99, with two batteries and a soft case, it cost about $50 less.  :icon_thumright:

There are many good cordless drills out there, I have a Porter Cable 20 volt with 2 batteries i picked up for $79...
