Has anyone ever tried taking the glossy-shine off of plastic parts (either physically or chemically) to get more or a matte finish? What techniques have/haven't worked for you?
I've done it. I used a scotchbright pad and went in circles at first, then kinda 'randomized' it. Then I did the same thing with a finer grid to take out some of the more obvious swirl patterns.
