Warmoth build #3 Dinky J-bass
Seymour Duncan sjb-2 pups - I now can say that the wood definately effects the tone cause my p-bass has the same bridge pup and the two are night and day, the p-bass is bright and punchy with swamp ash and maple and the j-bass is dark and thunderous with a vintage chug quality with alder and canary. Both sound great though, but very different which I wasnt expecting with the same pup and electrics.
Had to switch the tuners out with hip shot ultra lights to eliminate neck drag cause the bodys so light, makes my pbass feel like an anchor.
