I've decided to build my own custom guitar !
I had the following things in mind:

- 6-string HH alder strat body
- finish: olympic white, blue flake, blue burst or Lake Placid blue metallic
- walnut 24fret wizard-neck with satin finish (edit: if possible with the neck humbucker..)
- ebony fretboard with mother of pearl inlays
- chrome or gold Schaller Floyd Rose trem with locking nut
- vinyl white pearl pickguard (HH, 11. hole, Floyd Rose bridge rout, 1 volume knob in the upper position, 1 tone nob in the lower position)
- no through hole, white pearl tremelo cover
- 2 gold or chrome dome knobs
- gold or chrome Schaller strap lock buttons
- chrome or gold recessed top jack plate
- DiMarzio FRED in the neck, DiMarzio Evolution in the bridge
! I might be missing some important part. If so, please inform me.

As you can see, I'm either going for a white & gold or blue & gold guitar.
What do you think of this?

By the way, does anyone know if Warmoth can make the guitar for you?

Warmoth does not sell assembled guitars, only parts.

If you put a 24 fret neck on a Strat you can forget about a neck pickup, the fretboard extension overhang will extend into a neck pickup route.

Always best to ask about the 24 fret extension...perhaps possible to have the neck pickup moved towards the bridge a bit.
You would also have to ask about the pickguard as well.

Locking tuners AND locking nut?  :dontknow:

Ugh I left it there... I wasn't sure about the Floyd at first, guess I forgot to remove the tuners
So: no locking tuners!

It'd be nice if a 24 fret extension would be possible  :icon_biggrin:

For myself if I was going for 24 frets, I'd go with a Soloist body and not a strat for extra room in the cutaway to get up to 24.

There is possible, AFAIK... But will be it:

You'll have to have the neck pickup closer to the bridge (will give you a different tone than the normal strat)
