I ordered a custom-printed neck plate for my mooncaster build, which just arrived and turned out even better than I expected! I designed it myself in GIMP using a random piece of art I found online and the warmoth logo/turtle. It also has the name of my Grandma who recently passed, as she is the guitar's namesake.
The printing looks really nice and it has a clear coat on the top to protect it. I would imagine it will probably still scratch off pretty easily, but at less than $30 it's not a big deal to replace it now and then.
Very happy with how it turned out! All I am waiting for now is the body to be finished!! It's been about 5 weeks so I'm still probably a month or so out from receiving it, but I'm not in any rush.
Btw random question: do I need humbucker mounting rings? Any good recommendations that would work for a mooncaster?
